Years ago I had a boss who was an ex-Major in the British Army. He introduced me to their "Troops-to-Task" list making process. Very simply you list all the tasks that are required to complete a project, you list all the individuals who make up the project team and then you allocate team members to those tasks. Hopefully every task is allocated to individual(s) and every team member is allocated a task/tasks.

This blog entry made me smile - I have never come across anyone who makes lightbulb lists before, but then I thought well why wouldn't you!

I do most of my food shopping online once a month and because the cohmputa remembers your last shop it gives you a ready made list of sorts. It is also very helpful for being able to readily check the nutritional value of products and even to compare different brands of the same item. It also makes it quite easy to compare how the price of food has gone up so dramatically over the last 2 years as well. A shop that cost me around £100 18 months ago now costs around £150 for pretty much the same items.

[...] So another Fringe is over and dusted and as I begin to make lists of things ready for 2012 (yes we do start that early) I thought it would be fun to blog my list of shows for the month of Edinburgh. Please to say, that during the Fringe I work hard and I play hard, so I managed a whopping 37 shows – an improvement on last year.
Sal! This is the most lovely wedding story I have heard in a long, long time. As somewhat of a wedding skeptic, I adore stories like these! Such a genuine and heartfelt day, beautiful! Huge congratulations to you both and much love for your long and happy lives together. Only a PA could organise a wedding in 15 days ;) Jxx
